Fenton Fallon inspired Choker Tutorial

With chokers making it’s big comeback this season, I cannot help but recreate Fenton Fallon’s updated look to this age old piece!
This week’s post is inspired by a periscope session I watched earlier this year by InStyle Mag’s Accessories editor, Danielle Prescod.
One of the accessories Danielle spoke about was the Fenton Fallon choker (see her inStyle post here),
the Fenton Monarch Choker debuted last fall and SOLD OUT as soon as the likes of Rihanna and Khloe Kardashian were spotted wearing the beweled neckline. I’ve blogged about chokers previously (HERE) but this particular choker is a whole new take on this neck trend!
I love finding ways to mix something hard and soft, delicate and rough, fancy and grungy and this particular choker is perfect for this particular reason! I love finding new places to wear diamonds or in this case rhinestones because the $375 is cutting into my food budget for this month and the tutorial is sooooo easy!
With that said, let me show you TWO easy choker tutorials for you that are a snap to make!
First is the Rhinestone and Suede Choker,
You will need:
  • Flashy rhinestone necklace, preferably one with a chain
(a blingy bracelet would also work perfectly)
  • Suede or faux suede cord, at least a yard
  • Wire cutter

  4. Trim the ends of your suede cord.

I love both of these looks and i love the flexiblity of different pendat options!
It’s a fun and affordable accessory because you can control how flashy and eye grabbing you want,
if you are not a diamonds girl, go for pearls or another bead. So easy!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a glamorous day!
