This week I bring you the magenta blazer. It’s cool, I love it with biker shorts and a tank. It’s a trend I’ve been dying to try all during quarantine so I finally gave it a try.
Ooooh gurl and I know, I know, technically it’s the first month of summer and a blazer seems questionable with summer but I live in Seattle. We are still “springing” it around here with a toe in the winter weather pool for at least for another few weeks! And with things slowly opening up, I’m gonna flaunt this baby like it’s going out of business! (pun unintended)
So without further delay, allow me to introduce you to the “very easy Vogue pattern 9133“.
How to Wear Blazers in Summer
It’s a perfect lightweight jacket blazer that can be made with a breathable linen for summer , especially if you’re dealt with cool summer winds (looking at you Seattle). It will be cool to layer over a
- summer dress,
- that rare boating trip that leads to a lunch date on the lake (cue a quick quick skirt and lay the jacket over your shoulders),
- and even with a cool pair of cut off jeans with a tee.
