I love sparkles.
So much so, it’s my number 2 favorite color.
Naturally, sparkling drinks of any kind would top my list!
I don’t drink alcohol, soooo if I were to have a “strong” drink – THIS recipe would be it. hehe
It might be the MOST unhealthy drink I have in the house with the caffeine and artificial sweeteners – living on the wild side, yo.
The best part? It’s tastes pretty dang fantastic and it’s so easy to make!
How did this living on the wild side thing happen?
I mentioned the Neila Rey exercise thing earlier this spring, read here.
Well, we are still doing it and it has been a HUGE success for us!
I have toned up all over and my husband has lost over 30lbs!
The man has always been incredibly good looking and homeboy just upped his game – he looks and feels great!
But, doing this meant no soda… unless on cheat days.
It’s amazing what wonderful things can happen when you cut out soda, ha!
But seriously, there is something so comforting about those carbonated bubbles,
especially on those hard/tiring/busy days…
So, that’s how we came up with today’s Non-Alcoholic Tropical Lime Spritzer Recipe.
Here’s what you need:
- Mio Energy Liquid Water Enhancer, “Tropical Fusion” (next to the Koolaid at stores),
- Sparkling Mineral Water,
- Crushed Ice
Directions: add one squeeze of your Mio to your cup (1/2tsp = 1 squeeze), then add juice from 1/2 – 1 lime, next add crushed ice, and finally your sparkling mineral water. Mix well.
That’s it! Pretty simple, right?
I once went to a party and the bartender gave me juice. Boring, old juice.
I like juice but I wanted a fun non-alcoholic drink!
THIS is a fun drink! Especially if you add pineapple wedges to the rim, umbrellas,
mix in that shaker thingy bartenders use, or something fun, right?
What’s great about this is the option of adding more or less of whatever ingredient!
I like mine extra limey so I always add more.
Now I am on the hunt for fun glasses…
After watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I have decided life is too short for boring cups,
you know it’s true,
and you can quote me on that…

So while I am enjoying the rest of my birthday week,
looking for amazing cups before friday,
I hope you come back tomorrow for my next birthday week post!
Until then, have a glamorous day!!
